Certified copies of your child's birth certificate will be available in three (3) weeks, from date of birth, from:

You may request a certified copy of your child's birth certificate by mail for a fee of $17 per copy. Please make sure to include the following information when requesting the birth certificate. Send the request to the above address.

Name of child
Date of birth
Name of the hospital
Check or money order in the amount of $17, per copy, made payable to Orange County Birth and Death Registration.

Birth and Death Registration only keeps birth certificates for a period of three years. You may obtain copies of older certificates from:
